150th anniversary of Victoria Hall
Ontario's Lieutenant-Governor, David C. Onley, was invited to participate in Cobourg's celebration of Victoria Hall's sesquicentennial. During the day members of the community who were involved with earlier restoration were recognized with special plaques. Beckoning loyal fans, Victoria Hall opened her doors once again on Saturday evening. Formal and period dress complimented the elegant grand ball decor, grand piano music and dancing with "The Royals".
Incorporating the spirit of the "Ball Supper" guests were seated while dining on a mini-four-course supper; presented by Herma's.
With all the extensive preparation, SNAP thanks the Victoria Hall Volunteers for the invite, proving indeed, that their efforts have continued to make Cobourg's icon...not such a big secret!
