Brittnay & Haley hold up the cheque for the Red Cross

Colborne PS Haitian Relief

The classmates of Colborne Public School were inspired to help the Haitian Relief Effort after witnessing the devastation through media news reports. The classmates, grades kindergarten through 8, went door to door collecting pledges for a Dancathon, hosted a Coin Drive, a Hat Day and an After Buy Out. In total the school raised $2588.08. Lisa Barnard from the Port Hope Red Cross was on hand to receive the funds in support of Haitian Relief. Congratulations to all the students at Colborne Public School.
